BOOK-MARK THIS SITE (OR ADD IT TO YOUR "FAVORITES")...
- You'll want to make a file/folder for all your AmeriPlan websites. This will make your life MUCH easier as you go through learning about the different sites we have.
ESTABLISH A NEW GMAIL EMAIL ACCOUNT FOR YOUR AMERIPLAN BUSINESS...
- Don't just designate one you already have as your business email. Doing this can cause issues with your spam filters. A brand new account is the best way to go. Don't overthink it, it doesn't need to be fancy! If your first initial and last name @gmail.com is available, that's perfect!

COMPLETE THE GETTING STARTED SECTION:
There are 6 steps under this section and they ALL must be completed! Do not skip anything! Try to do things in order whenever possible to avoid confusion. What you'll be doing in these 6 steps, is listed below:
ONE:
- Sign up for the Training Newsletter. Be sure to use your NEW email address. Once you sign up for the newsletter, Janie will start sending you a daily email within a couple of days. This newsletter will contain a reminder of the live training calls available each day, as well as special announcements, promotions, inspiration, etc.
- Attend a New IBO Orientation Call. DO NOT skip this step. You will see the schedule for live calls listed, but if you are starting your training on day a live call isn't offered, you'll see a link to recordings as well.
TWO:
- Product Overview: Learn about all of our plans and how they work. Don't feel like you have to memorize everything right now! Just get the basics and you'll learn more "on the job."
THREE:
- Website Overview: This is the most detailed step, but don't let the details confuse you! Take things one step at a time and you'll be fine. When this step is complete, be sure you have completed the following two items:
- 1. CHANGE THE USERID ON ALL OF YOUR ICP SITES... From /your8digitIBOnumber (at the end of your web address) to /SomethingElse... EXAMPLE: www.EveryoneBenefits.com/40327031 to www.EveryoneBenefits.com/VickiCrabtree
- 2. BE SURE TO HAVE ACTIVATED YOUR 30 DAY TRIAL OF FOCAL POINT... It is 100% free for 30 days. At the end of 30 days, you can make a decision about whether or not to keep it and pay the $17.95/mo or $36.95/mo (if you choose to have a toll free number with it). You can always cancel it and then get it again later at that same great price!! If you decide to cancel, please be sure you have all of your contacts' information saved somewhere else.
FOUR:
- COMPENSATION PLAN: This section will go into great detail about our fantastic compensation program. Again, Don't get too lost in the details! It will make more sense as you put it into action. It looks much more complicated on paper than it really is.
FIVE:
- Generating Leads: Leads are the LIFE-BLOOD of your business, so be sure to really dig into this step and re-visit it often! You'll want to pick 2-3 lead generating methods to start with, and then add to your efforts throughout your career until you find what works best for you.
SIX:
- Prospecting Overview: Once you have people to talk to, you need to master the art of speaking to them! This is something that you will get better and better at as you DO IT! This step will cover different techniques, and also provide you with recordings of some of the leaders making live prospecting calls so you can hear how to put these techniques in action and develope your own style.
BE SURE TO COMPLETE ALL SIX OF STEPS ON THE GETTING STARTED SECTION OF THE TRAINING SITE... Do not skip ANYTHING! Every single step was put there for a reason!!
PUT THOSE STEPS INTO ACTION!!
Don't just read about grabbing a script and starting to talk... DO IT!! Once you read about how to do anything... do it!! Even if you do it badly at first, DO IT!! The only way to get better at anything is by repetition and revision. The only thing you'll delay by putting off getting into action, is your first paycheck!! Remember, the first check is the smallest... so get it out of the way so you can start the BUILD!! That's where the fun is!
"NEW IBO" TRAINING CALLS...
There are MANY training calls available to us. Visit the Training Calls for New IBOs tab on this site to get an idea of which ones are most important to start with, but be sure to go back and complete ALL of the calls listed on the training calendar.
"CONTINUING" TRAINING CALLS...
Be sure to attend at least 2-3 training calls PER WEEK throughout your career to stay fresh and plugged into to new techniques, and inspiration that is such a HUGE part of this team!
ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE FOR YOURSELF...
Treat this business LIKE A BUSINESS!! Set up a schedule for yourself and stick to it. Get your friends and family into the habit of sticking to it too! You'd be surprised what a difference this will make in the consistency of your paycheck growth!!
ESTABLISH GOALS AND WRITE THEM DOWN!!
Always have a set of goals written down and placed where you can see them regularly. Break them down into Daily, Weekly, Monthly, 90Days, 6Months, Yearly, or however you see fit, but be SURE to write them down and keep an eye on your progress. Never give up on a goal... you may have to change the date if you accomplish it early or if you accomplish it late, but never give up on a goal!!
STAY IN TOUCH WITH YOUR ENROLLER AND YOUR OTHER MENTORS...
Be sure to be in contact with your personal enroller, and your upline mentors at least once per week!! Send an email and give them weekly updates as you go through your training, and then as you work on accomplishing your goals. They WANT to hear from you!! We won't pester, push or try to persuade you to do anything, but we will support, encourage and guide you in every way we can!!
BE SURE TO GET ADDED TO THE FACEBOOK SUPPORT GROUP...
This is one of the best support features we have! Even if you don't normally use facebook, set up just a basic profile and then send a friend request to your enroller and/or your upline mentors, (including me). We will be sure you get invited into our PRIVATE support group. We all can post questions at anytime and only people within the group will see them. It's a great way to offer or receive encouragement to other team mates. We work from home, but we are NEVER alone and this group helps foster that feeling!! You'll see instructions for joining this group on the daily newsletter.
Last but not least... DON'T EVER QUIT!!!
Erase that word from your vocabulary! Everyone achieves success at a different pace, and everyone has a different definition of success, but the only ones who don't achieve it, are the ones that quit! DO NOT BE THAT PERSON!! You will get stuck at times. You may feel frustrated at times. When that happens, look at those goals again, and remember... you CAN and WILL achieve them!!!
